Connect Financial Weekly Update
Good day to our Connect Community, we’re here with another week of development highlights and what is on the horizon!
Our first piece to cover is the Staking Portal update. This week we squashed quite a few of the remaining bugs in the app and have continued to thoroughly test it. At this moment the last issues are all in our view layer, which is how the app website decodes the data from the smart contract and renders it on your screen. You can check out the recently released video displaying the staking portal in action on our internal test by visiting either our Telegram channel or Discord.
The Client Portal has seen vast movement over the last few weeks since the last update was given on it. We will look to put out new screen shots of it this week. The affiliate and referral program are now fully built out and being implemented into the UI.
This system will allow two levels of ability for users to earn by referring their friends and acquittances to Connect. The base referral system will allow users and their referrals to enjoy a reward when the referral crosses a threshold of either card usage or buying/selling with Connect. The more exclusive Affiliate program will allow users who are either verified Influencers, professional marketers, or users from the referral program who cross a threshold of number of referrals to earn both a base reward and a residual from their referrals usage (Referrals gain only the initial reward).
We expect to remain on track for the release of the Client portal with client registrations and wait list sign ups to be before the end of March.
The factory has let us know that they will be printing our card proofs and shipping them to me. I do not have an exact date yet but will keep you updated and you can definitely expect a full photoshoot of them once they are received. We did decide on a few cosmetic changes to our cards, plus two small required changes due to guidelines (mostly in our font sizing) so I will be ecstatic to get the final image in hand on the selected metal.
I think that is it for this week. We have a lot of exciting items in the background being worked on. Our team continues to grow, we added two more full time team members this past week, as we fill out roles and prepare for staffing up for production release and card issuance. We do have a few AMA’s coming up that we are waiting for the confirmation dates with the communities and will keep you updated as well.
